    107/10/20(日)在台北中正高中的Task-based learning (TBL)研習學到非常多任務導向的教學法，而講師Steven Murray在講解TBL的同時也用了很多任務! 首先，在自我介紹的時候，Steven老師在白板上寫下五個數字，要讓台下的老師們猜這五個數字和他有什麼關係，接下來Steven老師就讓老師們兩個人一組，寫下各自兩個數字以及一個共同的數字，跟其他老師用猜謎的方式來自我介紹，真的十分有趣，也是個很好的破冰遊戲!

    Steven老師在此次的研習特別強調 exposure的重要性，沒有所謂的 slow learners，只有exposure不夠的學生，身為老師，就要增加學生對英文的exposure，讓學生有充分的input，自然就會有output，並促進學生主動學習(active learning)。

    Steven老師在上課的過程所用的小技巧也值得學習，如使用mini white board(L夾+A4紙) 來引導出學生的回答，或是問: "Who's got the pen?" 回答:"I got the pen." 的學生必須負責將答案寫在小白板上。此外，Steven老師也很注重老師示範(modeling)要學生完成的任務，而不是一直給落落長的指示(long instructions)。

    今天主要的 task都圍繞在電影 Star Wars-- The Last Jedi上面，在Pre-task 階段， Steven老師先放電影預告並要老師回答問題，接著放介紹人物的PPT，順便要老師猜哪些角色是好人，哪些是壞人，並在小白板寫下原因。而Main Task的部分，Steven老師介紹很多種，像是 matching (words and phrases to pictures, directions to maps)、comparing (finding differences and similarities)、sharing personal experiences (storytelling, anecdotes, and reminiscences)、projects and creative task (class newspaper, poster, survey, fantasy)、problem-solving (puzzles, logic problems and prediction)、listing (brainstorming, fact-finding)、ordering and sorting (sequencing, ranking and classifying) 等。在本次的活動有用到 listing (列出你心目中的好隊友以及其特質)和 comparing and contrasting (Rey or Kylo...Who would you like to play in the movie?) 和ranking (Who do you think is the most interesting/dangerous? Why?)  以及 creative task (newspaper report: Create a newspaper article about your Star Wars adventures. In your groups, write a story about the most exciting parts of your adventures. You should add photos, pictures, captions, sayings and the lessons learned from your adventures.)

    而我們這組設計出來的活動是 matching (match movie roles to family members) 並教比較級和最高級。

    最後，在這次的TBL研習中，學到豐富的教學技巧以及如何設計TBL課程，在和同組的老師一起設計活動也學到很多! 謝謝英文學科中心!
