初級文法--2. '-ed'和'-ing'字尾的形容詞 Adjectives ending in '-ed' and '-ing'

I was really bored in that presentation. 我對於那個報告感到無聊
That was a really boring presentation. 那真是一個非常令人無聊的報告。

Adjectives that end in -ed (e.g. bored, interested) and adjectives that end in -ing (e.g. boring, interesting) are often confused. 
以-ed為結尾的形容詞 (例如: bored, interested) 和 以-ing 為結尾的形容詞 (例如: boring, interesting) 常會被搞混。


-ed adjectives 以-ed為結尾的形容詞
Adjectives that end in -ed generally describe emotions – they tell us how people feel.
以-ed為結尾的形容詞通常是形容情緒,它們告訴我們人們的感受


I was so bored in that lesson, I almost fell asleep. 我對那堂課感到超無聊,我快要睡著了。
He was surprised to see Helen after all those years. 他很感到驚訝在那麼多年後看到Helen。
She was really tired and went to bed early. 她真的感到很累,早早就上床睡覺。


-ing adjectives 以-ing為結尾的形容詞
Adjectives that end in -ing generally describe the thing that causes the emotiona boring lesson makes you feel bored.
以-ing為結尾的形容詞通常是描述那個造成情緒的東西,一堂 boring (令人無聊的)課程讓你 bored (感到無聊的)


Have you seen that film? It's really frightening. 你看過那個電影了嗎? 那部電影真的很恐怖
I could listen to her for hours. She's so interesting. 我可以一直聽她講話,她真的很有趣
I can't sleep! That noise is really annoying! 我睡不著! 那個噪音真的很令人煩躁
